2014 Great Plains Turbo-Max®

The introduction of Turbo-Max® brings true vertical tillage to new heights. The ability to provide unmatched seedbeds through more aggressive ground leveling and weed removal, enhanced residue sizing, and unsurpassed residue coverage while continuing to work in the vertical plane, makes Turbo-Max truly unique in the industry today.

Although most farmers have understood the benefits of true vertical tillage for several years now, they have continued to search for ways to address uneven fields caused by sprayer, combine, or grain cart tracks, and to reduce wind erosion through better residue coverage. Turbo-Max, with its 7-1/2" blade spacing and gang angles that adjust hydraulically from 0° to 6°, provides the answer to the concerns of today’s producers looking for all of the advantages of true vertical tillage in one piece of equipment. Turbo-Max is another vital part of Great Plains’ commitment to providing equipment that fulfills the customers' needs while remaining agronomically sound, providing the best environment to produce maximum yields.

Turbo-Max allows you to change the gang angle on the go to match it to field conditions. Adjustments can be from 0 to 6 degrees.

Two gangs – each with 7-1/2" spacing between coulters – with the rear gang offset from the front gang. The gangs work together to size residue to an industry-leading 3-3/4".

Transfer valve adjusts weight from center to wings, providing even, constant down pressure to the full width.
